This year marks the 117th Anniversary of our beautiful Fairview Park and we’d love to have you join us as we celebrate our Independence Day. The City of Casey’s 4th of July Celebration is fast approaching and we have plenty of entertainment, food and craft vendors in store for you. The Clark County Shrine Club will once again hold their traditional fish fry.
Everyone loves a parade, especially a 4th of July parade! The parade will be on Thursday, July 4th, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. The parade line up will once again be at the Casey United Methodist Church and Alliance Tractor’s parking lots. The parade line-up will begin at 8:00 a.m. on the morning of the 4th and the check-in station will be directly behind the church.
ANYONE WHO DOESN’T PRE-REGISTER BEFORE JUNE 30TH WILL BE PLACED AT THE END OF THE PARADE ON A FIRST COME BASIS.
The parade will leave the Methodist Church parking lot promptly at 10:00 a.m. and continue down South Central (State Hwy. 49) to the stoplight at Main Street. The parade will then go East on Main Street and turn and go North on 4th Street to the Casey-Westfield High School where it will turn and go West on Edgar back to the Methodist Church and Alliance Tractor’s parking lot.
After the parade, join us for all of the activities at Fairview Park including lots of good food, great music and of course the fireworks display at 9:00 p.m.!
Please complete the parade registration form and return it to City Hall.

No Pets Allowed in the Festival Area,
except for identifiable service pets!

Casey Popcorn Festival
The 30th Annual Popcorn Festival will take place Labor Day Weekend 2017
in beautiful Fairview Park in Casey, Illinois!
Held annually over Labor Day Weekend in our beautiful Fairview Park, the Popcorn Festival is one of the best-loved family events in the area!
The Popcorn Festival features a wide variety of fun activities and events for all ages, including a carnival, arts and crafts vendors, performances, food, musicians, the annual automobile show and all the free popcorn you can eat!

Christmas in the Park 2018
The City of Casey Presents the 10th Annual
CHRISTMAS IN THE PARK!
When? Saturday December 1st Thru January 1st
Where? FAIRVIEW PARK
***Live Nativity Dec. 7,8, & 9th - 6pm to 8pm***
It's time to start untangling all those old Christmas lights!
But before you do that we would like to invite you to help us decorate our city park. We would love to see your business/organization/family help us make Fairview Park a magical place again this holiday season.
PLUS - This year we are doing something different! We are having the community vote on the BEST DISPLAY in the Park! Judging will go on for week, December 10th - 17th. Winners will be notified on December 21st.
The City of Casey will provide the electricity and a sign with your name to display in your area. All you need to provide is your lights, decorations, timers, and extension cords if needed.
Thank you to all who have participated in the past years. Hopefully this year we will grow even more!
Set up will be November 27th-December 1st. We ask that displays stay in place through New Years Day.
